I dont have the $60 prepaid plan, but I do have the Simple Rate 10c Gophone plan on my GF's iPhone 4, since we couldnt unlock it. Been using it for about 3 or 4 months now.

I know its not the same thing, but its an option

Havent tried. She uses it as a phone (we both dislike texting) and internet browsing when wifi is available, which is 95% of the time. Never needed data, besides data is pretty expensive at 19.99 for 100mb on GoPhone. I use mine with T-Mobile, which has the $1.50 a day webpass feature, but I have only tried that once, never really needed it .

It should work as is. The MMS settings on the iPhone is the exact same the settings are for every other phone at&t offers.

It's the non-MMS data APN that is different for iPhones vs. other phones.

Well at first i had to keep data off on my phone otherwise i would get charged the horrid 1 cent per K/B. Now it shows this below.

I do have a custom APN not sure if that's what did it or if AT&T shut down my data knowing i have a iphone on
    there GoPhone plan

MMS requires data, so try a custom APN or wait about a month like me and see if ATT turns your data off for you.
