Discounted plans?
Im trying to decide if i want to switch to the Iphone and leave Verizon right now. Through work im supposed to get a 21% discount on ATT plans, but talking to someone at an ATT store and someone online i have conflicting information. So i thought id ask here and see if i cant get a better understanding of how the discount is applied. When i went to the store i was told the discount only applies to my minutes portion of my bill. Speaking to someone online i was told it is applied to the entire bill. Anyone know which is true?
If the sun was made of baby back rips..... would you eat it?

Assuming your employer has a Foundation Account Number, your discount will only apply to your calling plan, not to the features. So no discount on data, texting, whatever, just the plan with the minutes.

Actually no I work in the department so here's how the discount applies
These features will get a discount
data plans "except for the 15$ 200mb plan"
rateplans "except for the unlimited talk"
So if you have a bucket plan and say a 30$ data plan you get a discount on both
Be sure to check the credits adjustments and other charges section of the bill for something called national account discount. Thats where the discount is being applied.

They have to offer it to you. Consult or workplace or school for a FAN (foundation account number). That's the only way you'll get a discount.
There is no 'generic' discount for students or employees.Member of the hackint0sh forums.
