My bill has become too expensive for my comfort and i was gonna cancel my plan, but i didn't know if there was other things i should try first. I don't know if it would be better to just drop the data or maybe find someone who wants to take it over for the unlimited data. Just curious as to what you guys think would be the best route.

I suggest you see if you qualify for a premier discount on at&ts premier website. Drop Texting Plan and Add TextFree app for 5.99 its unlimited texting for a whole year and if you pay an additional .99 cents you can pick a phone number just for your text's.
