Family Data Unlimited

Well im currently using the family data unlimited for my 3gs. Now back in the day we could sim swap to use old phones and register the data package but since the new iphone 4's are using micro sim is this still possible to do?

Has anyone tried it? and if you are please let me know how you did it

Yes it still works, but you need a micro-sim adapter, I bought one on ebay for about $6

I was told they don't have family unlimited data, only for texting. When they did offer it they wouldn't let me use a iPhone on it cause they said the iPhone had to have their own data plan. Maybe they just don't offer it in the region I live in.

That is correct. You can share the unlimited texting from your family plan but the data is separate. It is separate on any phone on a family plan.
