IDK Where to post this ! hahaha , Sorry i'm new

Well , i'm buying an iPhone 3g off my friend for about $75-$90 but i'm a Sprint user , BOO! Sprint iPhone please ?! Hahahaha. But anyway, I was going to use it as an iTouch and he's also going to give me an inactive Sim card since i don't want to get "Insert Sim Card" Notification every time i turn on the iPhone.

I was wondering if i'm able to Jailbreak , connect to iTunes , etc etc with the Inactive Sim Card
