AT&T took away my discount

I was trying to buy an iPhone 4 from 5 am pacific time on launch day without success. I would get to the eligibility screen on apple.com and it would show I was eligible for $299, but would not let me get to checkout. Two days later it would let me buy a phone for my account that was not eligible for upgrade at full price and still not on my eligible line. Then at about 5 pm that same night, they finally allowed me to buy one on my eligible line but they took away the full discount price and only gave me the early upgrade price of $499. They change my full discount to 7-12-2010. BS

Anybody else have this happen to them?

Where do we check eligibility?

I went on the mywireless account but they dont have any iPhone 4s for preorder as theyre pulled for right now

This is from the apple site because I cant check on ATT site either. Also you can call 611 and they will tell you.

Atleast you get the discount not too long from release.

Yea but even then you could possibly get a walk in chance at Apple.
