Using iPad plan in an iPhone

So you cant buy a data only plan with AT&T so I just wanted to know if it's possible to use a iPad internet only plan on the iPhone and just use services like GV w/gizmo5 or skype to call. There is also internet based sms services.

It definitely is possible. I just activated my micro sim on my brothers iPad 3G, works flawlessly in the iPhone (after APN change). Skype works with GV Mobile! All for $30 a month.
