Default does at&t charge for tethering?

i just set up tethering on my jailbroken 3gs. tried it, and it worked, i didn't use it very long, just to see if it worked. but on the internet tethering screen, it says "additional usage charges may apply". does anyone know if they do charge for the usage??

No they don't, but they can if they want to. Basically if you stick to browsing and avoid downloading movies and songs etc then you will be fine. They peek in on people consistently going over 5GB a month for long periods of time.
