Gophone mms question on iphone
Hi everyone first post here I searched all over the web and couldn't find a answer for this question. Is Iphone GOPHONE pick your plan able to send MMS and receive them. Im thinking of getting att pick your plan but I dont know if the MMS is working as of March 8,2010. I currently have tmobile sidekick plan on my iphone 2g and as you all know you cant connect to there towers anymore to use there internet service so I cant send MMS on my iphone 2g. Which by the way I just upgraded to 3g and Im still waiting on it to be shipped. Anyway Im thinking of putting AT&T on my iphone 3g using GOPHONE pick your plan, would I be able to send MMS?if i get a Data Package with my gophone pick your plan?as of march 8 2010?
Thank you so much in advance for your help

MMS will work on a 3G w/ GoPhone PYP, but it will either use up airtime credit or towards a message plan. Also, your options are limited on data plans ($20/100MB max, no unlimited data plans).
Depending on the situation, you will be spending at least $30/month, more if you add messaging or data features.Member of the hackint0sh forums.

Okay so lets say i get gophone pick your plan with my iphone 3g. And I get unlimited text mssg with a data plan of 20$ a month. I would able to send and receive MMS correct as of march 9,2010? Also do I need a data plan to send mms?

Yes, you'll be able to MMS.
You don't need a data plan to send/recieve MMS. I suggest getting a messaging plan because pay-per-use MMS is .25/message.
I've used my 3G on both types of GoPhone plans, PAYGo and PYP. MMS worked on both quite well.

iPhone GoPhone
I'm running on an iPhone 2G with the 60$ unlimited talk and text, when the SIM was in my old phone I could send MMS and receive. Now I can do neither. Can you tell me how you got yours working?

OK well follow this guide to enable the native MMS on your iphone and then try the following AT&T MMS settings.

Only thing left would be update and restore then re jailbreak and try again. If that doesn't work then your phone's IMEI is tagged and blacklisted until you get something else then a 2g iphone.

My enabling it to use a GoPhone SIM card was strange. I bought a brand new SIM card, unlocked and jailbroke the phone and popped the SIM card in. Got the 'No service text. Even though I actually used my phone's IMEI instead of the one the SIM card came with. I figured it didn't work after 3 days of inserting it and rebooting and whatnot. One day my friend saw my iPhone and asked if they use SIM cards. So I showed him where it was and when I put it back in it had working service. :v

Wow you epic fail. You don't use the actual iPhone IMEI number to register the go phone service.

It locks the SIM card to whatever phone you register it to for 6 months or so.
So what do I do?
