Default iPhone with A&T Data+T-Mobile Voice: Possible?

Hello! I was wondering if it would be plausible to have this AT&T plan:
Get Started - Wireless from AT&T
and a T-Mobile voice plan. Would an iPhone work on the AT&T Smartphone Data-only plan? That's my main question lol, the other is would a dual sim adapter work with a 3.1.2 iPhone 3GS? I have a T-Mobile Voice plan right now, with my parents for $100 and a full 450, unlimited sms, unlimited data iPhone plan with AT&T for $105 a month. I'd like to save and just get voice on T-Mobile and data on AT&T, and use Google Voice for texting/calling on the two. Thanks!

Also, would it be possible to receive calls on a VOIP, data-only plan?

Apparently you do not know a single iota how the whole cell phone world works. To answer your question.... A big fat NO. It's one or the other no carrier offers only data unless it's an air card. Voip would be perfect but it's just unrealiable. I use Fring and it works correctly 4 out of 10 times... Not good.

I actually understand how the "whole cell phone world" works pretty well, please read carefully, I said using a dual sim adapter. And apparently AT&T offers data-only, did you bother to read the link?

    Hi Ruslan,

This is about hardware. iPhone (all of them) has only one active tranciever, and therefore, only one sim can be used at a time.

You can try dual sim adapter or a multisim solution (you will have to define APN for AT&T so while browsing you will be using their settings) but even if it works you will be missing voice calls while browsing and vice-versa becasue all these solutions only give you the option to swap sim without taking it out of the phone.

    Cheers,
    Vladimir
