Visual Voicemail not working?
I am not sure for how long, but my visual voicemail doesn't seem to work. I have 13 messages and the only way I can tell is by dialing my own number and manually editing voicemail. This wouldn't be a huge issue except for the fact that I am obviously not being notified of voicemails at all. ATT recommended a restore. That did nothing. I am on 3.1.2

Man I had the same problem till about 1 hour ago. My problem started after I upgraded to this new update and did the Blacksn0w JB. I also did the tether mod so not sure which made it not work. I could not even update my greeting it could come back as "error try again later" or something like that. Reset all settings and that did not work either. Had to do a restore and backup from last sync.
I can now save a greeting but since its late at night I have no way of testing if I now get voice mails. I JB it again with the make it rain
and im in the process of getting apps back.
No visual voicemail
UPDATE: Apparently my problem is with the Tether files Im installing from Cydia. Phone worked and i could save the greeting up until I installed that tether file (.mobilconfig Generator by iPhone-notes.de) . Had to restore and JB again so sticking to iphonemodem for now.
Either that or loose the visual voice mail if I get the tether that happened to work perfect
.

Visual Voicemail not working?
try this
settings>general>profile
it may or may not be there if it is tap it then remove
then go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings
(if you have any wifi settings you are going to have to put the passwords back in)
reset the settings phone will turn off turn on then wait about 45seconds if you have vm they should pop up
if you don't have profiles you need to do a clean restore and add apps back one at a time until you can figure out which one is causing the problem like the other poster did
good luck

Well a reset didn't fix it. A restore did... staying without apps for a few days to try and see what the deal is. My feeling is that it isn't an app simply because I haven't really installed anything new. Don't think I have really updated apps since the issue started either, but we will see.
