If you recieved the bill today didn't you notice the sim card was missing within the previous weeks? You can't make calls without it on the phone you have. Calling 911 is not for losing your sim.

Unless the store that you got it back from can verify it was there at that time for that long you may have a rough time disputing the charges with ATT. Without your phone for 5 days!!!! I can't go a few hours without mine lol. Of course mine is used for business.

The problem is that there was a 5 day period in there before they went to get the sim. Sometimes they can work with you on it. Hopefully you get the nice customer service to work it out with you.

They would probably need special warrents to do that. At $500 they may not go that far into it.

At&t is usually pretty good working with people when things like this happens. One time I had put unlimited long distance on my land line and when I got my bill it was a little over a $1,000.00. No kidding! I freaked out! I called at&t and told them that I called the month before and was supposed to have unlimited long distance they did give me the credit and then they fixed the problem for me.
