Does AT&T PAYG have new SIM cards?
I've heard around that AT&T has some sort of new SIM card that is "locked" to a certain phone for a certain amount of months?
Is this true?
My luck started to suck today when my SIM card (PAYG) stopped working for some odd reason.
I that SIM card in my Iphone 2g and BBcurve8320.
So now I have to get a new one, am I locked out of these two devices?

Certainly you would have received a text stating that your sim card is reaching end of life and to visit a store for a new one. Sounds odd.
Sim cards fail, but I hear that you get a free sim once a year from AT&T. Call them and check it out.

The sim is only locked if you buy it prepackaged with a new phone.

You could just ask them to set you up with a GoPhone account and that you have the phone at home, buy a GoPhone, set it up and go into a real AT&T store (Free sim) and tell them you lost the phone and just need a new sim card.

Yep, that's exactly what she's saying.
Just go to the at&t store with the SIM in your BB and tell them it isn't working. If the GoPhone account didn't expire, they should be able to replace it without issue.
