MMS on 2G without data plan possible?

Now we are able to send MMS on 2G, I have a question.

I am using at&t with iPhone 2G without iphone data plan but have $5 text message plan. I know $5 text message plan also includes MMS so that I think you would be able to send the MMS without data plan. Is it possible? I just want to know before I even try to enable MMS on 2G so that I don't waste time.

Yes - MMS will work at NO additional cost.
However - if you have requested a "DATA" block on your account it will NOT work.

Without a DATA block confirmed by AT&T you risk that the network hooks you up on the INTERNET. This will cause massive data charges. Not irreversible but will cost you long conversations with AT&T.
