Is there any way to back-up third party apps
at&t 3g 16 gig unlocked and jail broken ultra snow running version 3.0
is there any way to back up third party apps
and if i update from 3.0 to 3.1.2 will i have to rejailbreak and reinstall all
my third party apps. the only reason i,m thinking of doing this
is that my mms does not work. Is there and fix for mms on att running 3.0
thank in advance for any replys

I use PkgBackup from Cydia. It costs 2.49 but I think it works well. After you update and re-jailbreak reinstall PkgBackup and when you run it it will reinstall your 3rd party apps. There is also a free programm AppBackup but I have not tried it. MMS will work on 3.0 if you update the carrier .ipcc file. You can find instructions pretty easily via Google.

I prefer RockApp. Install from Cydia, make an account, download all your apps and it saves all your apps. If you get another iPhone download RockApp and it will install all the apps you had before on the previous iPhone.

Rockapp is the way to go! It's to easy and fast.
