Tell them that your friend had the same issue and his rep removed the MMS opt out code and did an over the air activation to make it work

^^ the system that stealths post has on how to have it with 3.0 works.. my plan just did not include MMS for whatever reason, thats why it didnt work right away..
i <3 being on business members for AT&T for some reason the customer service treats me better....
good luck to everyone doing it.... i have little experience in C prompt and i got it to work..
