2G iphone on a non-iphone data plan

I have a 2g iphone with a non-iphone AT&T sim card. The sim card has an unlimted family data plan on the 3G network. How do I get the iPhone to work using the EDGE network to surf the internet using this card?

but the new att sim card in the phone and it should work

I don't have a "new" sim card, only the sim card from an at&t noniphone.

go to Unlockit - APN Changer for your iPhone on the browser

then click continue->custom apn>

APN : wap@cingular
Username: [email protected]
Password : CINGULAR1

Carrier ATT US

or you can edit it from cellular data network if you have it.
