Well, I'm currently with T-Mobile, and might switch to AT&T. I have a 2G iPhone, and was wondering which data plan to go with. There is a data plan unlimited, and a data plan for iPhone, and not sure if both data plans work with iPhone 2G. The data plan also uses 3G, I think, which my phone can't use, but yeah, wondering which plan to use for my iPhone currently.

For ATT, you'll need the "iphone" data plan for an "iphone".

All you will need is the 20 dollar unlimited data for a 2g iphone. And i believe for 30 you can get unlimited data and text

Here is the actual break down of the 2g plan.

$20 - unlimited data + 200 TXT Msg.
$30 - unlimited data + 1500 TXT Msg
$40 - unlimited data + unlimited TXT Msg.

Hmm, how would I be able to view this plan? When I choose the iPhone 3G, then it only allows me to see the plans for 3G, and the 30 dollar data plan there is about 30 bucks, without text so it seems. And picking other phones doesn't allow me to see the iPhone plans. What exactly is the name of the plan for the 2G iPhone?

It's called "data plan for iPhone + 200 text" I believe.
