Ordered a 3GS, and FedEx lost it...
I ordered a 3GS on 8/23 off the AT&T site, and I was supposed to get it on the 26th. I never got it.
I called FedEx and they said they can't find it and to call AT&T so they can make a claim.
So I called AT&T, they made the claim, and now I've been waiting since.
I called again today and they said the "Escalation Dept." is looking into it.
Still no phone, still no word of a refund or a new phone being shipped.
This is some ********.

That's not the first time they done it. I ordered an iPhone when it first came out to make the plunge and unlock it when 1.0.2 was popular.
I got a used blackberry in the mail. And their customer service sucked.
I never had any iPhone shipped again. I only allow people to bring it in on their person.

The iPhone needs to be signed for.
If there's no signature (even if you already got it) you never got it and it's their responsibility to send a new one.
Don't worry, you'll get a new one and if you don't in another 2 weeks or so, call again.
Some people here have reported having their iphone never show up, called in, got sent a new one, and the next day the other one showed up on their doorstep.
I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something
