So where is MMS!?

Seriously.. The main reason everyone updated to 3.0 was for MMS. I don't understand why the rest of the world has it, but we have to wait. They said "end of summer" when 3.0 came out. Summer is basically done how much longer do we have to wait? Is it even necessary for us to have to wait? What was the reason for wait?

I'm so fed up with this BS. Simple features that normal phones have we still DON'T. How many iPhones is it going to take to have the standard features ALL phone's have had for the past like 8 years now? They finally put a camera/video on the 3RD iPhone, but there is no flash or light for it. Making it completely useless at night.

Its stupid, embarrassing, and just doesn't make sense.

When they do decide to release the MMS feature, its going to be an update. Which means there goes the JailBreak, again..

I'm with t-mobile on my iphone 3g, sooooo, I have mms. And it's cool.

No. MMS is already in 3.0 so there would be no need for an update & rejailbreak.
If you want the new features then sure you'll have to update/re-JB.
You just need to install the carrier updates that will probably come, or if not, then put in your APN settings

There is still some "summer" left. Even if it does not feel like it sometimes it still is officially "summer".

It will just be a carrier update to enable it, so there most likely not be a need to re j/b.

MMS was the reason I bought an iPhone- wait a second... Lol to generalize and say that the reason we all updated to 3.0 is for MMS was a bit of a stretch...

Also I'd like to find a cell phone that has a camera with a flash that actually takes good photos. I seriously have never seen a pic taken with a crappy LED flash that looked better than a point-and-shoot.

I know that we have high expectations for our jesus phones, but no one is this critical of a cell phone.

if they announced that, id flip out lol..
i used to have tmobile so MMS was no problem, loved my iphone
just switched to att in july, believe it or not, the family plan was cheaper.. now im slowly dying inside without my MMS

well i went from a single plan to a family plan and with 3 people on it, it went from $95 to $85 and they dont charge for the data plan on the 2nd or 3rd phone so we split that up even tho its only for my phone

I spoke with AT&T this morning and the rep told me early part of Sept. for MMS, she said the first of sept. but then corrected herself and said the first part of sept. Soooooo we will see.

I don't get why 3GS only.
They advertised MMS in 3.0 would work on 3G and 3GS.
And I know for a fact that MMS will work on 3G iPhones.
