upgraded 2g iphone, edge/text/email?

am i the only person with this issue right now or what? i took a completely stock iphone 2g, upgraded it in itunes to 3.0, re-activated it like a stock iphone. it boots back up and no E logo, no sms actually gets sent or received, and no email. wifi works fine, i can make n receive calls, but nothing else.

i jailbroke the iphone, unlocked it and tossed my tmobile sim in it and it works fine LOL

why does the at&t sim card lose what should be normal? it worked perfectly fine an hour ago on 2.2.1, upgrade to 3.0 and now this...

help? and oops, if a mod wants to fix the title, i meant to say "upgraded 2g iphone to 3,0, no edge/text/email?"

If you can, goto this url: help.BenM.at on your iPhone and touch the "Mobile Configs" and follow the steps. My 2G iPhone was telling me I didn't have a cellular data account even though I did. I had to run that profile to get it to work.

i tried that, then rebooted. and it still didn't work.

ill try it again, but why would that be necessary when it worked fine before the upgrade lol
