im giving my iphone 2g to my girlfriend who has a blackjack 2 without internet or anything. she could really care less about having internet anyway and she has wifi at home so if i put her sim card in the iphone and downloaded SBsettings and just turned off edge would she be able to use it as a phone with sms and everything without safari and things that need to use edge? Thanks

yep thats what i did for my moms 2g worked great but with out a iphone plan no visiual voice mail but other than that it was all good
