Is it worth paying a big deposit now to get iphone, or should i wait?

i have tmobile and love them. i want an iphone but cant seem to find one for a good price. is it worth it to pay a big-$500 deposit to go to att and get an iphone, or keep what i have, or should i wait for the new ones to come out and see what they are?

What do you consider a good price? Tmo's prices are a lot cheaper than AT&T's as far as phone plans and internet goes so you could very well make up the money you would have used for a deposit by buying one now and running it on Tmo. Or wait a couple of months until the new iPhone comes out. The current phones will be flying through eBay like something fierce. I bet you get a better deal then.
