AT&T WiFi Free with DSL

Those iPhone users with AT&T DSL may want to take notice of a new freebie for account holders. Anyone with higher speed DSL packages from AT&T get free AT&T WiFi Access at any of their hotspots (Barnes and Noble, McDonalds, etc).

Here is the list of qualifying DSL plans:

AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet Pro (up to 3.0 Mbps downstream), AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet Elite (up to 6.0 Mbps downstream), FastAccess Xtreme (up to 3.0 Mbps downstream) and FastAccess Xtreme 6.0 (up to 6.0 Mbps downstream).

I tested this on Monday this week at my local McDonalds and it worked great on my iPhone. Find the attwifi access point, attempt to connect. Once connected, browse to any page to get their hotspot access page.

Once there, just scroll down and select the "AT&T WiFI" button at the bottom. Use your DSL account login (mine is [email protected]) and you will be right on the network in no time.

I did this from the parking lot too, didn't even have to go inside!
