thanks stealth! i was just looking thru my 5.5 ipcc comparing to a 5.0 ipcc to get the cell editing when i realized i didn't have it anymore, so i came here and Voila! you had already updated and created 6.0. perfect. tethering even works YAY! can't get BT tethering to connect to my mac, but usb is working (writing this tethered now) as are mms and vvm!!!

edit - got bt tethering working - had to setup bluetooth pan in net prefs. (on 3.0 btw)

I have a 3GS 3.0.1 AT&T, unjailbroken since the 1st day of purchase. I want to jailbreak it but im of luck until the Dev Team cracks it u for us.

Anyway, I want MMS on my 3.0.1 but I'm concerned if it's going to cause any trouble for the 3.1 future jailbreak?

Updating your ipcc (carrier settings) will not give you any trouble for 3.1 jailbreaks

I've tried the 5.0, 5.5, and now this 6.0 stealth. I still get the red (!) when sending MMS. I've called and they just said be patient as people are activated over the next 24-48 hours.

I'm Jailbroken on 3.0.1 using Snow Leopard 10.6.1 using iTunes 9.0.1 with *.ipcc modifying enabled. I use the Option + Click Update Button method.

My only question is that should my Settings > General > About > Carrier still say AT&T 5.0? I see in the picture yours says AT&T 6.0.

reset your network settings then install my ipcc. Then reboot again

Thank you very much for the quick response. I went to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network, and picked "Reset Settings". I option + clicked the update button and chose the ATT_US_STEALTH.ipcc that I downloaded at the top of your initial post. I powered down, waited 30 seconds, turned it back on.

Unfortunately it still says AT&T 5.0. It's not a big deal, I just want to know why I'm different from everyone else lol.

thats weird. sometimes you have to upgrade it a couple times for it to take effect

Ah nevermind I got it.

I used iPhone explorer and navigated to \System\Library\Carrier Bundles\ and deleted the entire "ATT_US" folder.
I navigated to \var\mobile\library\ and deleted both the "Carrier Bundles.bundle" and the "Carrier Bundles" folders.

I went back to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network. I chose "Reset Settings", "Reset".

I option + update clicked in iTunes and updated back to your ATT_US_Stealth.ipcc and then powered down and back up.

AHHHHHHH, the red exclimation is pissing me off. I'm 3.0 jailbroken and had my carrier settings say both 5.5 and 6.0 and neither has worked. I've had the Sinful MMS & Tethering Setting installed and not installed on both carrier settings as well. I used benm.at in the past.

Any idea how to get this working??? Yes, I reset my network settings.

Have you called AT&T and asked them to make sure the opt-out code was removed from your account?
