Well my account has been provisioned for MMS cuz i have family unlimited. but my phone kept going into safe mode and Cydia would not open so im doing a restore, hope my mms doesnt disappear! keep you informed....

well restored and set up as new phone new everything.. it works!!!!

however no matter what i do or however many restores, i can not jailbreak my phone again. purplerain redsnow nothing.

edit:

after 4 restores and all set up as new phone mms is working and FINALLY got jailbreak to work.


all i did was the ipcc SB gave us, i have messaging unlimited for family (NOT IPHONE) did the sim swap (idk if this honestly changed anything??) then had Tech Chat send me an OTA and BOOM! 4 days in a row, after i respring and rebooted, and even after a few restores! woo!

So has anyone figured out how to get MMS on AT&T without having to call them or do a SIM swap?

I only had the tech chat send me an OTA.. just ask them to send you an OTA. I said because my text messages were slow for sending/receiving.

she wouldnt tell me about wap push or anything else, so i asked her for a simple OTA and boom. it works.

however. i did the simswap thing and that may have done the trick? but for my old 3G i didnt have to. so its may just be luck of the draw.

i used to have the lil camera in the text window (but not able to send MMS), i am one of those people that has had ZERO luck no matter what they try. recently i have tried a new something new where i downloaded setting off a repo. and than my lil camera disappeared. now no matter what i do i cant get it back, reset network settings, uploaded the ipcc again, nothing works.

any suggestions?

I still have the same issue. I works for like a day then stops. If I do the sim swap it works for like a day then stops.

I wonder why some peoples continue to work and others stop after a day or so.

the picture icon doesn't even appear anymore. are there mms settings im supposed to put in there under network?
