3.0 and MMS
So I have 3.0 running on my phone right, go to send a friend a pic right, well it starts sending and the sending bar gets like 7/8 of the way through and then its like "message send Failure", and im like WTH? So i downloaded the ATT ipcc and installed it.... still failed. Im running a iphone 3g 16 gigger but i dont have 3g were im at right now. Does this have anything to do with it? Or is their something else i need to do?

MMS is currently not working for ATT customers.

AT&T will continue to block ALL mms until the official release of 3.0. Just like swirlyMMS... if there was a fix for it.. we would have known a long time ago.

so you have the iphone text plan or just a regular text plan on your account? switching (if you can get a nice rep) might help.

I've been texting via swirly for months. It does work, and anyone that tells you otherwise is full of ****.
Also, Messages app MMS on 3.0 is working with the required plist updates.Last edited by pyrotek; 03-25-2009 at 07:36 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

VERY VERY few people have people on the inside or have a friend.. or have convinced a tech to enable WAP push on their account. By DEFAULT for the other 99.9% of AT&T people it is blocked. There are multiple threads on the swirly forum and here about what to tell customer service to make this happen and even then almost no one can get it done. You need to be a little more careful with the general claims you make pyrotek.

My apologies, I guess my experience is not in line with the general population of users.
I do not have any inside ties or friends at AT&T. Simply placed one phone call and it's been working for me since. Maybe there is something different in my situation, but a few of my peers have also had no issues with my guidance.

Ok well then would you like to share your guidance?
I have the non-iphone family messaging plan and I have updated the at&t.ipcc file as advised somewhere else and still no dice.Last edited by Bernie-Mac; 03-25-2009 at 01:50 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Johnny's pics are real. That is how it's working for me.
Bernie: Try swapping your sim into an old phone and SMS someone. Then swap it back.
