Unlocked Iphone 2G and MediaMax Unltd

Hey guys i was just wondering if i change my unlocked 2G iphone's IME to an old phone's IME that i used in the past and then add the Media Max unlimited to my plan would that work the same as the Iphone data plan but with the unlimited text? is it possible? i'm not an atnt customer yet but i will be if this is possible....you know im like one of those people that like unlimited text included with the data plan and does not like paying extra!

Has anyone done it?

wait! if you have the media max unlimited why don't you have unlimited text? doesn't that come with the package?

Sorry take it back I have mMode Unlimited so I pay extra for text. The mmode should be the same as the media max for unlimited internet use.
