Upgarde from 1st Gen iPhone to iPhone 3G
Guys
I bought my 1st Gen iPhone the 1st day it came out back in '07 and had it since. Because I was eligible for an upgrade I bought the iPhone 3G.
I bought it online from AT&T and they sent it to me today.
I was thinking of selling the 3G for various reasons but...
My concerns are...
1. If I want to sell it do I need to activate it with AT&T first?
2. Once I activate it, will my old iPhone be a brick? Can I swap the new SIM to the old phone and be able to use it?
3. And do I need to jailbreak the iPhone I'm selling, or will anyone that buys it be able to even without my SIM?
4. And is there anything else I need to do before I sell the phone so that it isn't associated with me?
Thanks guys.

What else do you need to know? It's a White 16GB 3G iPhone from AT&T. It's certified Refurbished and has the plastic wrapping on it. Comes with all the original documents and accessories. I looked it over and it looks flawless. Sometimes you can expect to see some scratches on refurb items but this one is flawless.
