    Default MMS Without Data PLan?

Does anyone know if it's possible to use Swirly MMS without a data plan?

Does it work like normal SMS or does it require a data plan to use?

I want to know before I attempt to try it.

Youd need some kind of data plan I believe. but more importantly you need MMS enabled on your acct.

    Good luck with that.

Yeah dude, data charges like crazy. You'll be charged 25 cents per MMS (Ones that you sent and received are charged seperately), You'll also get charged for data traffic involved in sending those messages.

i thought it worked just like SMS as long as you had a regular messaging plan and not the iPhone one.

    nope i wish though.
SMS - Short Message System; Text only.
MMS - Multimedia Message System; Subject header, text, pictures and audio.

MMS takes up a bit more bandwidth on the carriers' servers (I assume). So i'm sure they require some sort of plan, or something like EDGE, or the internet.

Doesn't matter, i have the same thing. Once you start trying to get out the mms the server (att) will not allow it, so we are all SOL
