well it must have not lasted to long as now I can send but no one receives. Glad I didn't upgrade. Anything else I can try.

Must carrier specific. Nextel and us celuar do not recieve pictures from me and I am on AT&T.

All is well it was something wrong with swirly or something... i rebooted Iphone and all is well..

ill tell u straight up, to get mms to work. By default mms is not enabled on an iphone account due to if you have mms enabled u dont get the viewmymessage.com notifications when u recieve an mms. Theres two different systems mms are provisioned in, billing (care, telegence) depending on your location. Then snooper which provisions you with the network. Tabs to select what your able to do. Iphone by default is set for sms, not mms. My recommendation if your trying to get mms working. Put your sim in another phone, wait about 3-4 hours to call in (we can see your current phone). Say your having problems sending mms, youll get provisioned for mms now that youve made up some excuse as to why your not using an iphone anymore. Most reps are too dumb to change your apn which is your internet settings that are only different for blackberry or iphone. Generally if i see someone call in and im showing their using an iphone i dont do anything...Hope it helps, enjoy

i have been recieving MMS for 4 days now so far.. and the lady i spoke with added WAP push and said something about the snooper..but if i did it the way you are speaking of would that take my $30 iphone plan? can you acess my account and change the snooper just to be on the safe side?

this is how is how i got mine to work,

1) switch my sim card to an older att phone
2) changed my phone on att website
3) sent and recieved a few mms on old phone
4) went back on att site and changed from family messaging plan to unlimitted messaging plan (20.00 plan)
5) put my sim back in iphone and was able to send and recieve mms on the spot.

To those of you that have done it like this...

What phone did you guys switch to? I have a Blackberry Curve that I could do this with. Should it work? Also, will my voicemail still work after completed? Any info?

Okay this is my problem. Downloaded it (Swirly) I know it works because I have received mms messages from some friends. HOWEVER everytime I try to get the license, IT FAILS! How do I get the license? That's my prob. Can amyone help?

I'd like to know if this will work for me if i put my sim in my Blackberry 8800 phone and give it a shot. I gotta hunt down my iphone box to open the sim tray, so i'd rather know if it worked for somebody else before digging for my iPhone box haha

Weird way that I got mms to work. I did the easy method which was to put the sim in a mediaNET capable phone. So I did that. The MMS and MediaNET was not working on that phone. So I gave up. OLAM said I was using that phone but I just gave up. Four days later my internet stops working. So I reset my phone and tested MMS just to check. Surprisingly it worked. I thought AT&T was letting iPhone owners use MMS in preparation for 3.0 but I checked OLAM and it said I was still using that phone. Keep in mind I live in a very urban are where snooper is highly active. It's been working for 5 days so far though. And snooper is working because my sister on the same plan switched phones with a friend and it detected it the same day while it still says I'm using the MediaNET capable phone. That's my success story so far. It will probably stop working in 2 weeks but then again 3.0 is going to be right there. I'm still shocked it's been working for 5 days so far and counting.
