i bought a used 3g iphone from a friend for a good price, not knowing what they cost when you buy one with a 2yr contract from att. a few days later i got the phone actavated through att. now that i realized that the phones are only $199. for a brand new one i wanted to just get a new one and sell my old one. ive called att and went to the store i bought it from and they are giving the the run-a-round about it. anyone have any suggestions, should i beable to get a buy a new one at the discounted price?
If you've already signed a contract....your pretty much out of luck, I thought there was a grace period and within that time you could cancel the contract, may wanna check on that. If your outside the grace period I seriously doubt they will let you cancel (to buy a 3g at contract price).
If you within 30 days you could go in and cancel your account without any penalty, and then sign up again at the discounted price. Or you could just add a line and then cancel the other.
