MEdia Net Unlimited (Web) 15.00 plan and iphone 3G

All,

I have a Nokia 6085, on a Nation 450 w/Rollover® Minutes plan, with the 15.00 month MEdia Net Unlimited (Web) plan.

My work is going to supply me an iphone 3G unlocked so I can use any sim in it. Its not from AT&T but from an overseas provider (our corporate head office).

Can I use the Nokia 6085 sim in it and get internet on the iphone?

I don't care less about visual voicemail and stuff. Obviously I can't add an iphone plan as the phone is already paid for and the IEMI is NOT therefore anything to do with AT&T.

My office is happy as they avoid roaming charges

I guess worst case AT&T find out and ask upgrade to the PDA dataplan, but they can't force me onto a iphone plan as its not their iphone.

Just asking if the MEdia Net Unlimited (Web) 15.00 plan works okay? I am not going to be using it greatly just checking email on the iphone (IMAP).

yup, you would be alright as long ad the sim card is a new one with the 3G symbol

Yes I only got this from AT&T two months ago (Nokia 6085) so its got a 3G AT&T sim card.

I assume it will work 3G mode in the iphone not stuck in only edge?
