Anyone working for AT&T fixing SwirlyMMS anymore?
Searched every Swirly thread for a possible fix. Called about 20+ representatives with no luck. Was wondering if anyone out there is still providing fixes for this that work for AT&T. Every post I've found on it is either dead or they are no longer doing it. I am willing to donate a decent amount as long as you have the proof to back your work up. Hit me up through a PM if possible.

i work for AT&T but I'm not going to risk my job for someone to have mms...I have posted in a few different posts numerous ways to get it done. Most of the time just resending all ota's and clearing the vlr will do it. Good luck!

as I said in my post I've tried numerous times with no success (20+). Finally got a tech to enable WAP Push for me and send and OTA reset which did not solve the problem. I then called another tech and had her do an OTA reset which has still not fixed the problem. I have followed every guide to the letter with no success.

Could use help too. Talked to many a mean and many a nice agent. Customer service/tech support, teir 2 tech support. The teir 2 lady finally turned evrything on for me, switched me from an iphone messaging plan to an unlimited text messaging plan (non-iphone). So I receive a message while I'm on the phone with the woman, but I can't open it. I get the 403 error. I can't sent messages either. She told me I have the correct settings (even though she wouldn't give me the proper MMSC information. When I read her what I had she said those should be correct.
So long story short....I have an MMS message sitting in m inbox, but I can't check it. Anybody out there working for AT&T that would be willing to check my setting on my account for me? I could pay a few $ for this?
Thanks,
Plot

Here are the correct settings you should have on your phone PLOTKIN (given that everything is enabled)
wireless.cingular.com
mmsc.cingular.com:80
apn: leave it blank
username: leave it blank
password: leave it blank
Size: medium
User Agent: nokia n95
if that works then you're all set.
Good luck.Android user suffering from iPhone withdraw.

A temporary fix to get your messages is to put your SIM into a non-iPhone until it does the IMEI sweep.. usually takes about 10-20 mins tops. Then pop into your iPhone and you'll have MMS for a few mins. I have CHEAP AT&T Go Phone... i put my SIM in there an ope up Media Net.... at first I get the same 403 error but keep trying till it opens up. Then pop it back into the iPhone.

I think so as well. Had my friend check all my settings and they are all correct. My MMS will work if I put it in another phone for about 5 minutes then back into the iPhone, but will only Send/Receive for a few minutes until the IMEI's number sync again. I have a family text messaging plan as well. Dunno what else to do.

gQ,
First thank you for the help. Here is what I'm getting.
I used those settings (above) and get the following error:
when receiving: Fetch Error: unexpected http response....
send sending: Failed to send MMS, Possible incorrect mmsc setting. Unexpected http response (HTTP/1.1 403 Invalid MSISDN number received.)I used what you put in your post quoted above.
Any other ideas? I called AT&T again and they said I have everything on, on their end.
