Change plans now very confused

I started my iphone account back in august.
Yesterday all the verizon numbers were converted to ATT
So the new plan is Family 550 with unlimited text.

The 2 non-iphones have unlimited text, pay per use media net
[The iphone has GPRS WAP UNLTD DOM - CMB1

Three questions
Anyone know that all that is in bold.
What is media net?
Is the iphone account feature differet with the family plan than with a stand alone iphone accunt?

Thanks
Scott

I am only on a individual plan but I know iPhone plans are different than normal plans. Media Net is the ATT unlimited data and text package so that will be on your plan and then your iPhone will have a different plan becuase of its features.

iPhone doesn't use MEdia Net. Can you access the web on your iPhone? If so you're going to get hit with data usage since you don't have an iPhone feature for $30.

How much are you paying for:

BTW the reason you have MEdiaNet is b/c it comes with the messaging package. It's just an add-on. It won't work for your phone anyway.

the iPhone can use media net because I had it on my 3G but that plan isn't available anymore....it was the 19.99 unlimited media net

That is what the ATT agent said to me.

I wonder if I can block internet usage on the non-iphone phones?

Technically if it were still available you still wouldn't be able to use it. Yes it will work if you have that 19.99 feature but it's technically not allowed in the contract agreement.

iPhone = iPhone data feautre
PDA = PDA data feature
Flip Phone = Unl. Media Net Feature

Catch my flow?

There are alot of people who are using the incorrect feature and they will eventually receive a text message to their phones telling them to change within 24 hours or their bill will be substantially higher.
