    Default pwned t-mobile to at&t

Im sorry if this has been asked before. I couldnt locate a previous thread. I have a 2G iphone pwned and using t-mobile. I'd like to get a new 3G iphone with an at&t family plan. Is there some way to use my unlocked iphone on the family plan? Do I have to somehow re-virginize the phone and will at&t be able to tell and will they have a problem with it?

No, all you gotta do is stick an AT&T simcard in it. Done.

yup. i'll concur this. a unlocked iphone is unlocked. you're good to go. just stick in the sim card. i use my old 2G as a loaner iphone, if i'm in need to give someone a iphone while hacking theirs or if something comes up (ie, my friend damaged his phone, so i had to restore and he had to swap it at apple, so i gave him the 2g to use in the meantime)

Thanks for your quick responses. Sorry if this seems like a newbie question, but do I get an at&t phone and just stick that card into the 2G iphone and then add the data plan or does the iphone use a specific simcard?

They will give you a new simcard for your 2G. It will be a new phone number or you can port your Tmo number over to AT&T. Either way all you do is stick the simcard they gave you into your phone and then start your phone up and you are done.
