2G to 3G...data plans?

I had a original iphone with the iphone data plan and bought a 3g off ebay. I switched cards but didnt do anything with ATT and started using 3G. I got texts from ATT saying that i didnt have a 3G data plan and i needed to upgrade mine to avoid charges. When i go online to add/change features in my plan the iphone plan only has one option, the one i have. It also shows that i have the 3G iphone online so ATT knows. Is it the same plan for both and can i just keep using 3G now without doin anything? Kind confused on this.

You should call them using 611. They will charge you pay per use if you don't.

How much was it to add the 3G data? Did it change anything else in your plan?

The 3G data plan is $30.00
The 2G plan was $20.00

The rest of my plan stayed the same.

The 2G plan has 200 text messages included. $5.00 for 3G data for 200 text messages.

They told me the same thing. It is the same plan, just faster and without text massages.

Call and get it all worked out, or youll be sent a higher phone bill which would suck

I suggest changing your plan. They gave you fair warning that if you don't you "may incur extra charges" so if your bill comes in and it's $500 or whatever don't expect them to help you out.

Yeah they just bump up your bill by $10. Nothing else changes.
