iPhone: How Much Data Do You Use?
Do you guys use WiFi for lots when possible or do you run everything over the cell network?
I am still sketchy running streaming (non appstore) Apps and (cydia) downloads off of the 3G network with fear of getting disconnected or a $500 bill.

I use about 50 megs/day give or take. Some days alot more, some days alot less. I use wifi when its available at school because I just have wifi on and it automatically connects to one of our million hotspots.

If you have an iphone you MUST have an unlimited data plan or you'll be sure to rack up data fees in a hurry.

Ya. More of what do you do with your data plan would be a better way to phrase the question for the jailbreak people.
Do you stream anything and everything from Cydia apps like dTunes? Do you download from safari using the DL plugin to your iPhone?
Lastly, if anyone has played with the ******** app and repository, do you openly download cracked apps on 3G/EDGE or area you scared of ATT watching what you are downloading?Last edited by boxxa; 10-15-2008 at 11:24 AM.

An application on Cydia that allows you to download and install apps off the internet and install directly on your iphone without using iTunes. The site is: NO links to warez which has more info.
I am just wondering if they have a connection with Apple and watch for things to such sites.
Is jailbreaking an iPhone breaking the TOS with ATT with purpuse to say, use Safari DL Plugin and download files to the iPhone?Last edited by Broomhead; 01-11-2009 at 07:34 AM.

So what I gather from ********, it's the "cracked" versions of iTunes apps. I'm surprised your allowed to talk about it here!
But since you are, is there a way to get that really popular driving game you see on the iPhone commercials (I don't remember what it's called)?
Wow, you can get that! Holy balls

Discussion is permitted (I for one am not going to act like it doesn't exist), linking to them however is not. His post will eventually get edited.
edit: Also, you're not allowed to post instructions on how to get said applications on your phone. (Just for future reference.)Last edited by 461am; 10-15-2008 at 05:01 PM.

I used like 250MB last month. I'm on WiFi at home and work, so I'm sure that I used a LOT more.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

I am over 2GB of data already this month and 2500 text messages and still have about 2 weeks to go. All of it tho is cell phone data. I have never tethered it.
