Just a few songs - I get songs people show me or I hear on TV to see if I'd be interested in buying that artist 's discs later on.

Bumpy now that more people use Cydia, PDAnet, etc.

I usually hit 4-5GB a month. I don't tether at all unless for basic web browsing.

I got my 3g in November and over the past 4 months I have downloaded a total of 67.1 GB. Last month I went all out and Downloaded 18 gigs. I mostly use my iphone for streaming movies or episodes when I wanna watch some tv, as I am to cheap to get cable. So my internet bill, cable bill, and phone bill(which is only $40, and I'm not sure why. I thought the iphone plan was around $80) are all one in the same.

I say stick it to At&t, they told me when I got my first smartphone that I had unlimited data, so why not use it. If they come after me wanting 500-something dollars just for interpreting the word "unlimited" in the most straight forward sense, I'll fight them tooth and nail.

I used to have no data plan, either. But then I joined the Army, got rich, and I now love my mobile internet.

My DSL at home is a 1.5 Mbps (~180KBps download) so I get that on WiFi or 3G. Since i pay for 3G I might as well rack it up. Plus, sitting in the airport listening to Pandora is great.

I moved and got FIOS at my house so my home internet is actually faster than my ATT 3G but still sit all day and drive a lot with SIRIUSXM streaming music.

Anyone have recent numbers for their data usage? Last month I hit 5GB

Ya it does. Download MXTube from Cydia. You can stream videos in WiFi quality over 3G.

What app are you using for sirius? I was thinking about getting an account with them but I couldnt really find an app that would work for the iphone.

My data used to be really high but I finally got wifi working at home.. So now I mostly use the 3G when Im out (its great when someone in my group says does anyone know, I just whip out my iphone type it in in google and presto I tell them the answer! Love it!)

I just wish there was a way I could get my bill cheaper then 125 a month.
