Safe mode?? Wtf????
My phone is rebooting into "mobile substrate" safe mode every 5 minutes and it is seriously pissing me off. It started after the update to the Notifier program and it installed reminder on the springboard. Can anybody help me with this issue? I am not 100 percent it has anything to do with notifier. I read online and they say it's because of winterboard but I have never had a problem with that. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Moderators, I have no idea where to post a question like this. I probably missed spotting the correct thread. Please move to correct location if this ain't the right spot. Thanks!!
Update: I deleted notifier and it hasn't happened since. I like the notifier program but it sure the heck aint worth the head ache though.Last edited by chris52204; 10-08-2008 at 11:27 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

it f'd up my too. software like this needs to be tested before being released to the public.
I scared to download stuff like this.
I see why apple takes so long to release stuff to the app store. It needs to be tested and tested again.
I had to restore my phone and jailbreak again to get it staright. WTF

I have had something similar happen to me except i was seeing blank icons on my homescreen for aim and facebook and i clicked it and they would reboot me into safemode.. I just deleted them and its all good. Just out of curiousity how long has safemode been on the iphone and what is its purpose? Is there any way to boot into safemode?

That is good to know. That is a good program. I like this one because the other notifier makes my phone kinda sluggish.
This might be kind of random but has any of your screens been flickering with this program? My screen was flickering really bad like a strobe light and it hasn't happened anymore after the deleting of notifier either. Just wondering if it has anything to do with the program.
