Just ordered an IPhone 3g 16gb

I am amped!
I finally pulled the trigger on an Iphone. No stores around me have it. Even Apple stores So I had to order it through my companies premier site.
Unfortunately I have to wait 7-10 days for it to ship. I cant wait that long! Arghhhh!

Anyway I am glad to join this site and contribute to the community.

Wow your having problems like that with your phone cracking? I have the white since day one and I have no cracks. I even dropped it once. I guess I'm lucky! If I do get a crack, it look like your getting free replacements right so I should be fine.

I got my white one on Friday. No cracks (yet). Came in in 6 days.

Make sure you go online after a couple of days and check order status. The ATT store never called me that it had come in. I checked online and learned that it had been delivered to the store 2 days earlier. I called the store and they verified that it was there so I went and got it.

AT&T stores just started receiving stock of iPhones as of yesterday. Direct fulfillments are coming in MUCH faster since they will be slowly begin to desist doing DF ordering.

i love my white one. we have 4 3g's in our family, 2 white and 2 black. Black is nice, but white hides smudges better.

I just activated via itunes but my phone says no service, I go outside the house and the phone still gets no service.

I have been transferred a total of 5 times. Have been on the phone for over 3 hrs with AT&T and no one can help me with my phone. I've been told the number is on hold. I have to activate at store(which is false because i ordered through business premiere as my coworker did). The automated systems dont find my phone number.

ughhhh this is frustrating!!!

Finally all activated. I had to go to the store. Now I think I may have lost my FAN discount. They had to re-add a plan.

The reception is a big problem. I think you're gonna have that problem for a while and so will others especially me on the first generation iphone.

i live in miami,florida and i switched over from tmobile and my 3g reception is great. and i love my 16gb white 3g...i went to the apple store today and switched it to the white 16gb 3g cuz i had the black 8gb.....white looks so hott...

Apparently the reps at AT&T over the phone dont know that they are shipping iphones via premier.
Its a pain in the butt but I am finally up and running and jailbroken.
