What plan?

Okay...

I have no iPhone at this time. I plan on getting one very soon. I have the Razer with ATT now with texting and no internet. $39 plan.

1. Should I buy one online not activated or should I upgrade to the iPhone 3G through ATT?

2. When I get the iPhone 3G. I want to have Voice, texting, messaging, WiFi, and possibly some internet without Hot spots. Hope I said this right. What are your thoughts to what package I should use from Att if I use the Razor SIM or if I upgrade?

Yep, newbie here and been reading the last week. Still confused on a few things.

AT&T requires you to have the "iphone data plan".

When you activate the phone you may get away without having it for awhile but AT&T will notice and force you to add it.
