AT&T early upgrade

Hey guys I just got a huge shock when checking my AT&T account online. I am 11 months into my 2 year contract that i signed when purchasing my v1 iphone and they have made me eligible for a early upgrade. Now i just have to find a store that carries the new 3g iphone. has anyone else got this from AT&T or am i just that lucky?

I was under the impression that if you were under contract then you had to pay 400 bucks for the iphone 3g regardless if you were a legit original iphone owner? was i misinformed?

haha dyamit i hate myself i remember reading here on the forums that if were under contract that the price of the new 3g iphone was 400 bucks. ah i know i should have just called apple and asked.
