if you upgraded then its most likely the activation fees and the new data plan is 10 dollars more and the text messaging is not included anymore with the data. if you are still on the first gen then you probably went over something. the new 3g iphone is 30 bucks a month plus text($5,10,20) and voice

My bill was $180 for July... That's $30 more than what it normally is. I read through it carefully and noticed the $18 upgrade fee, and that they decided to add texting on 'for me', and prorate it too. I was so pissed! First off, no one told me when I purchased my iPhone 3G that an upgrade fee would be incurred. Then the auto adding of texting was the icing on the cake. After a few minutes on the line with CS, the fee was credited, as were the texting charges. Just goes to show ya; Always examine your bills! Some companies will 'auto-add' features, or will just not notify you of an increase of rates on a certain package/feature. The sad part is that most people just go "WTF?" and pay it. Others, like myself, don't stand for companies that try to nickel-and-dime ya. Beware guys/gals...
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Word^^^ I always have to lose an hour of my life with sprint, they are bad with fees and increases. I am finally getting an iPhone and all these ATT horror stories still can't deter me.
Listen to ^^^ always check your billing statements and don't be afraid to dispute crazy charges.I would have my URL here so you could hear our music but apparently that's sig spam. WTF?

I got 2 Iphones 3G. My bill jumped up to $290 because I canceled the data package plan. ATT charged all data transmitting and receving from WIFI at home. What they called is "pay per use". What the flicking rip off. No sale man warned me about it.

You peoples have nothing to complain about ... my first AT&T bill was $313.93.
Unlimited minutes
Unlimited data (duh)
1500 text
Red-hot poker from Uncle Sam and his little beotch, my state
AT&T recovery fee(s)
I left AT&T the day number portability went into effect -- their GSM network was a pathetic joke at that point. Now having returned and gone the way of the Jesus Phone™, I'm quite pleased with AT&T Wingular.Last edited by mobilexile; 09-06-2008 at 09:33 PM.
