Cingular sim = 3G iphone? Anyone know?

If my Cingular 3G sim card would work on a new 3G iphone? I’m on AT&T network using my Blackberry and would like to upgrade to 3G iphone. Is it as easy as just inserting the sim card into a new phone?

Thanks for the input.

The 3G comes with a sim card already. You have to activate the phone in the store. This replaces your current sim card. So the question becomes, will your iphone 3G sim work in your blackberry. The answer is yes.

Unless you buy a 3G off ebay for no contract. But the sim from the blackberry should still work in the 3G regardless.
