I have no idea why someone would buy a water damaged iPhone that won't turn on. I'm selling mine at this moment and its been bid up to $255 with a day left on the bidding. Clearly stated AS IS and "does not turn on"! Why would anyone pay this kind of $ for a dead iPhone???

Believe it or not water damaged iPhones can be repaired. ubreakifix.comis a site that I found that actually has a water damaged repair service. Supposedly they're pretty good.
