A buddy has a 1st gen iphone that he would sell to me for a good price. I am currently using a blackberry pearl, and would like to use his iphone. I don't have any data or internet package, but I do have texting.
Can i just put my sim card from my phone into his iphone and i'm all set to go, or is there some messing around that i would need to do to get it to work? I need calls, texting etc. and is there wifi to use even if i dont have any kind of internet package? I have edge turned off from att with my pearl, will it stay turned off if i switch to an iphone also?
anyone? its a GSM simcard i am using
