Any one else's 3G Coverage SUCK!?

I live in Tucson Arizona and i get 1 bar inside the best 3g area in the city and the internet is fast but when i make a phone call the person on the other end cant hear me but i can hear them. Once I get about 2 blocks from my house where the signal is suppose to be a little weaker it actually gets better. Then at my job i get 5 bars outside and no service inside. In all of these same areas my wifes 3g lg vu gets minimum 3 bars and never has to worry about a missed called. Ive done the restore, switched iphone and also changed out sim cards and nothing

id rate it 0 because i live in kentucky and only 3 cities in the entire state have 3g coverage. i live 5 minutes outside lexington and only get 3g once im in city limits. it doesnt have any coverage outside of the city at all

Im in the UK running 02 ! says im in a 3g area and all i get is edge i mean come on !! it doesnt stay on the 3g it keeps going to edge for some reason? So im going back to 02 tomorrow to moan at them !! i arent paying for something i cant use... although 02 said there maybe a problem with the handset!?!?! maybe the 2.1 will resolve it? i also notice when i get 3g i lose my signal? anyone else notice this????

3g is fantastic in nyc. almost seems better than wi-fi

yes its the same way for me once 3g is on i get half a bar. I'm with you hope an update can correct this because 3g is the main reason i upgraded to the 3g iphone

Thats the reason i updated as well !! and wanted the unlimited data (was running jailbroken one before ) i went back to 02 today had a little bit of a moan but its just sods law!!

UK coverage - Services - O2 << put in your postcode and see if you have the 3g coverage ! i dont

where i live but every street around me does haha ! thats sods law!so they said i could cancel my contract within the 14 days if i wasnt happy !! But it will get better !!

I live in Philadelphia my 3G is ok. The thing I am pissed about is that i just got the 3G two days ago and get 1 bar in my house where the 1st gen i would get like 3 or more. O and some times NO SERVICE.. Thats not cool at all..

Clearwater, FL I live RIGHT on the beach so of course my signal sucks and my 3G is bad. But its cool cuz Every hotel out here has free WiFi and my house to so I always have fast connection lmao.

I was just in chicago and while I had good service, the 3G is just a tad slower than other cities ive been too. But it still worked fine so i guess im content.

I live in Lansing, MI (capital of Michigan) and there is no 3G here yet. Its terrible, I pay for a 3G plan, but don't receive the service. They tell me that we should get 3G this month, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Artards, how do you launch the 3G iPhone with a poor 3G network? You see, Chewbacca is a wookie, from the planet Kashyyyk. However, he lives on the planet Endor. Does that make sense?

3G is working great it San Juan, Puerto Rico. Leaves a little to be desired inside my apartment but its not bad at all. Elsewhere 4-5 bars consistently.

Has anyone had any luck, for those that have been experiencing terrible reception, exchanging their iphone to see if it helps with the problem?

BTW I live right on the beach as well and get 5 bars walking up and down the beach...I only get "bad" (2-3 bars) deep inside my building.

Although I agree, wifi from the hotels is nice!

3G near the Medical center in Houston is wonderful. Full bars in my apartment, and all around town.

Moving to So Cal, hope I get the same luck.

This is more than likely do to Apple not coding the phone properly and is the reason why its been on the news lately and the apple is doing a fix to be released in a week or two.

Just goes to show that when you rush to get something out the door and over commit there is going to be problems down the road
