I live in south fl (west palm area ) and i drive most of palm beach co and some of broward and the 3g coverage has been great!! 4 bars signal strengh in 3g , not sure what edge is anymore thank god

ha i live near Atlanta too! Peachtree city to be exact...but yeah when i go through Atlanta my connect shows 3g but appears to be sluggish....mhmm

I live in Peachtree city too! I have bad coverage but for some reason I get a good 3g coverage around carrabas. But the GPS is accurate on the golf cart trails.

I live in New York, and I must say, I'm very impressed at what I've got here. From my house in Queens, I always get full coverage and its pretty fast. Every place I've visited has given me 3G coverage. I even got all 5 bars while waiting for the Dark Night to begin in Forest Hills (Queens, again) on Sunday whereas with my Sidekick, I would lose reception in such movie theaters.
I can't wait to go to the city and see my experience there. I love the fact that the GPS also pinpoints local MTA transit buses and trains; that should help when I'm off lost in Chinatown.

Im in Atlanta...at my house i have full bars of 3G, but it doesnt really matter because it gets WiFi anyways, when i venture out, especially where i work which is still considered in the city of Atlanta (and by their map on AT&T, WELL in the 3G coverage area), i get NO 3G coverage, it kicks back to Edge everytime...this was irritating when i first got the phone because i was trying to show a friend of mine the features vs. his old iPhone and it was basically slow as a snail...he actually hasnt purchased one because of this.

Atlanta has a very filled out coverage area, yet i find 3G to be quite hit or miss as the first poster stated. Ive honestly considered selling it and going to another phone but im very happy with all the other features, i just wish that the iPhone's new namesake would live up to its hype.

My biggest complaint thus far though has to be the bugs, my first iPhone, even after being jail broken, was relatively bug free, this one glitches all the time, i was actually IN the AT&T store asking about cases when it did it the other time, guy wanted to see the app's i had and it glitched and reset and took forever to come back on...so annoying.

I live in Tucson Arizona and i get 1 bar inside the best 3g area in the city and the internet is fast but when i make a phone call the person on the other end cant hear me but i can hear them. Once I get about 2 blocks from my house where the signal is suppose to be a little weaker it actually gets better. Then at my job i get 5 bars outside and no service inside. In all of these same areas my wifes 3g lg vu gets minimum 3 bars and never has to worry about a missed called. Ive done the restore, switched iphone and also changed out sim cards and nothing

id rate it 0 because i live in kentucky and only 3 cities in the entire state have 3g coverage. i live 5 minutes outside lexington and only get 3g once im in city limits. it doesnt have any coverage outside of the city at all

Im in the UK running 02 ! says im in a 3g area and all i get is edge i mean come on !! it doesnt stay on the 3g it keeps going to edge for some reason? So im going back to 02 tomorrow to moan at them !! i arent paying for something i cant use... although 02 said there maybe a problem with the handset!?!?! maybe the 2.1 will resolve it? i also notice when i get 3g i lose my signal? anyone else notice this????

yes its the same way for me once 3g is on i get half a bar. I'm with you hope an update can correct this because 3g is the main reason i upgraded to the 3g iphone

Thats the reason i updated as well !! and wanted the unlimited data (was running jailbroken one before ) i went back to 02 today had a little bit of a moan but its just sods law!!

UK coverage - Services - O2 << put in your postcode and see if you have the 3g coverage ! i dont where i live but every street around me does haha ! thats sods law!so they said i could cancel my contract within the 14 days if i wasnt happy !! But it will get better !!
