EDGE Problems after 2.0 Update?
I updated my 1st Gen iPhone to 2.0 since I wasn't going to be using it anymore and gave it to my mom. Anyway, I'm still trying to teach her how to use it and when I tried to go to google on Safari it gives me a message that says "Safari can't open the page because it is not connected to the internet"
Anybody know whats going on?
My Wi-Fi is working ok, it is EDGE that is not working. I have tried to restore to 2.0 3 times now, and also tried the reset netork settings.-Nicole

I'm having the same problems. AT&T blames Apple .. Aplle Blames AT&T for weak coverage etc...blame game is on and we are the one's to suffer.
After another call to Apple tech support, it was confirmed that AT&T has a rolling outage covering some 38 states. AT&T is taping into the edge bandwith to service other calls "3G" hahahahhahaha
Outage was reported in 2 states on the 11th and then the rest on the 12th. No word to when edge service will be reliable again.....
