Ok thi may be tricky to get an answer, I am currently on a family share plan with a friend and his sister (hell-of-a-lot cheaper). If I buy the phone from an Apple store, will there be ANY issues with me purchasing the phone without having the account owner with me?

I really dont want to wait in line for a phone if they are going to tell me that I am out of luck...

you are going to need the account holder present with you. If i remember correctly they will need the account holders social security number and phone number and other crap. So play it safe and have him present.

you have to have the account holder there. or he can add you on as an authorized user to the account. i asked the same question to att customer service and she said that i can do that. have your friend call up att customer support and have him add your name as an authorized user. then all you will need is an i.d.
